This phone is really annoying. You just have to sit there and watch it ring until your friend hangs up. The T9 typing is AWFUL. I was just looking for a new phone replacement when I came across this one on amazon and had to comment. The battery life is awful. I , like most other people on here, thought it was really cool-looking and neat that you could listen to music on it. I am really not a picky person and I usually look at the positive side of everything, but this phone really sucks. It gets really annoying after a while to flip the phone back and forth several times to do any simple operation.
Well its the most annoying phone I've ever owned. If you're trying to call someone and they call you at the same time, it completely freezes up and none of the buttons work. I don't even want to go into detail here but its really bad and likes to substitute random nonsense words into your messages while you're typing and you have to go back and delete them. Oh my goodness everything about it is awful I can't wait to get a new phone.
Too confusing to figure out. I, too, thought this phone looked really cool - I love red and I don't particularly like the flip phones - so I thought this would be great. I've had it for three weeks but haven't had it activated yet. It shuts off on its own, keys can be difficult to press, tiny screen on front is lousy, overall - a pain in the butt. Going back to Sanyo Katanya.
The pictures it takes are the worst quality and the person to person sound quality echoes. I always get comments on how cool it looks but this is a bad phone. You can go to web sites but are unable to click on links. Like most are saying it looks cool but that's it. The touch screen never does what it is suppose. I have had it for about a year and it won't keep a charge. I have to have the battery pack attached all the time and even then it will only stay charged half a day with out any use.
Personally I liked it after the first day or so. I don't really think opinions about Sprint Customer service are very relevant to the review of this phone. What I liked was that I could text using only the small screen side, and I really liked having a full keypad on that one side. I think this phone is a great little phone, It's small, slim, and is super unique. Of course anyone should realize that since you have to flip back and forth from side to side while you use it for some functions, it takes a little getting used to. Admittedly, the large screen side was a little hard to use at first, but hey a phone this size with two screens and all these features is bound to have some drawbacks. The good thing is that the drawback- having to flip the phone regularly- is something you can easily anticipate before purchasing the phone, so I don't feel a shred of sympathy for anyone who purchased the phone and ended up being totally dissatisfied with it.
You will get through the prompts until you are given a wait-time and then. Plan on at least a two-hour call to get something accomplished and then prepare yourself to be utterly crazed with anger when you see that nothing was actually done (several times). If you call them today, July 15'th 2008, the system will acually tell you to call back later and HANG UP. A word about Sprint: They used to be the best, and they are now the worst. I'm turning off my phone today. They always say it's fixed but never is.
I have made 5 attempts to fix this and finally gave up.
I'm not surprised at all.
She said she did and of course, it's still on my bill.
The absolute worst.
A telemarketer from Sprint called me trying to sell something and extend my contract, I laughed so hard, that she actually tried to fix my problems.
They got rid of 80 % of their customer service workforce.
Things have appeared on my bill for a year that shouldn't be there.
They're really useless.
That'll take at least 3 hours.
